Tenuta Salva Terra originates from the coming together of the Furia Family, boasting deep roots in the Verona area as a producer for over 30 years, and more innovative component, represent by a group of entrepreneurs who, in the addiction to the capital, have offered their skills and experiences to build a successful project. The goal of Tenute Salva Terra is to enhance its vineyards and its wines, liking its brand to the identity of an area namely Valpolicella.
Salva Terra Compromises 600 hectares of vineyards in some of the most appreciated terrains of Veneto. First of all the Valpolicella, and extends from Lake Garda to the Euganean Hills for the production of Pinot Grigio and Prosecco.
TENUTA SALVA TERRA – VALPOLICELLA RIPASSO D.O.C. SUPERIORE ANTICA VIGNA
65% Corvina, 10% Corvinone, 20% Rondinella, 5% other varieties. Made using Ripasso method achieved by conducting a secondary extended maceration and fermentation over the Amarone grape skins, giving the wine higher complexity, bolder and softer body, and intense colour. Aged in barrique for 6 months. Intense ruby red. Palate is rich, very fruity, elegant. Typical notes of wild berries that blend well with the complexity of the wine.
Serving: 15-18˚C Suggest: Roast, grilled meats, pot roasts and risottos.
