The Macchialupa Winery is located in the Valle del Sabato, on the border between the provinces of Avellino and Benevento, amid wide valleys and towering ridges where, at an altitude of around 450 meters, the Falanghina, Greco, Fiano and Aglianico grape types are cultivated. Their passion and love for an area rich in winemaking traditions and culture led enologist Angelo Valentino and agronomist Giuseppe Ferrara to set up this small winery, which is masterfully run by its founders.
MACCHIALUPA – BENEVENTANO FALANGHINA IGT
After soft pressing and temperature controlled fermentation, the wine refines in the bottle for about two months.
Color: straw yellow with golden reflection
Nose: intense and rich bouquet with fruity aromas of peach and pineapple, and hints of magnolia and honey.
Taste: smooth and warm with a balanced freshness and aromatic persistency. Great companion of white meats and fish courses.
