The Grottarossa Vini company was founded in 1992. The production area is located between the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento and the Colli Nisseni around Caltanissetta. This specific territory produces excellent Sicilian wines. The wines are an expression of this excellent territory. The fertile limestone soils of medium texture, are ideal for planting a variety of local and foreign grapes, the unique land fertility guarantees the uniqueness of the wines.

Produced from vines wihin South central Sicily Agrigento-Caltanisetta. This wine undergoes one year french allier barriques, and six months of
bottle ageing. Deep, concentrated ruby red. Intense nose of dried fruit, tobacco and vanilla. The wine is well balanced by the tannic structure and moderate alcoholic level. It surprises with its concentration and prolonged finesse. A trully noble and elegant wine.
